Happy New Year

Getting ready I chose a pair a chandelier earrings that made me feel elegant and edgy but like most things this year I felt it was too over the top, so instead I chose the more classic accessory, Pearls. In most things this year I feel like we've been constantly going back to the basics. 50's style dresses with cardigans, something that feels more sophisticated and classy (ahem Mad Men). So I hope you ring in the New Year the same way, with the sophistication and the class that these hard times call for. Goodbye 2009, were moving on.

Crimson Lips

Every girl has her favorite disney princess and mine happens to be Snow White. I used to hate my pale pale skin but I recently decided to accept it, dye my hair dark brown and embrace my inner fairytale princess.

And when I have a red lip I really feel like royalty....

But I cannot find the right red... They all come off looking bad against my skin or like a cheap vampire halloween lipstick. So heres the question that I want answered more than anything else. What is the perfect red lipstick? What is your favorite? Where did you get it? and how much?

I was typing a new post and I realized I have written almost nothing about me since I started this blog. Here it goes,
My name is Sarah. I'm currently a freshmen studying to become a nurse. I have four main passions in my life My Family, Jordan, Medicine and Fashion. Although a career in fashion would have been my first choice my life has led me down a different road. I have two beautiful siblings who were born with autism. This has influenced my decision to follow medicine instead of art. Im very close to my family and my boyfriend of two years Jordan and one of my main goals is to be as involved in the raising of my younger siblings as much as possible. I hope you feel like you know more about me.

Pretty Package

Apples and Oranges

Finished! My last two weeks of classes have made me write 7 final papers and I have to admit (very ashamed by the way) that I have not been dressing my best (sweats and tees). Plus its gotten extremely cold in the last couple of days here in Minnesota! And I really need to invest in a prettier coat.
I recently had an albulm handed to me of the artist Stacy Clark (Apples and Oranges). She came and played at my college earlier this year, unfortunately, I was not here that weekend. The cd is lovely but the song empty bottles I found to be partculary beautiful.
Im in love with her song and I do enjoy her style!
